The consultation involves a physical and functional assessment of the oral anatomy. We focus on the baby’s feeding history and signs of symptoms of tongue dysfunction.
As a Family Doctor and a Lactation Consultant I provide a holistic approach to my work and I will share medical and infant feeding advice for all infants, both breast and bottle-fed.

Health Insurance
The Consultation Fee may be claimed from certain health insurance providers as a Postnatal Baby Feeding or Breastfeeding Support. I am a registered lactation consultant with the Association of Lactation Consultants of Ireland. Many health insurance policies provide cover for post natal lactation consultant assessments. My International Board of Lactation Consultants number is L-122307.
The Frenotomy Procedure Fee may be claimed under GP expenses under certain health insurance policies. Please check with your individual insurance provider. I am a registered General Practitioner with the Irish Medical Council. My IMC number is 245333.
